Robotic cockroach has a non-crushed technique that moves quickly like the insect
Robotic cockroaches are here, and they resemble the original insects only in that they cannot be crushed even when stepped on, with the device moving as fast as its real counterpart. Engineering has copied much of real life wonders, and innovation has focused heavily on creating something unique but awe inspiring at the same time.
The idea of a robotic cockroach is not pleasant for humans, especially since the insect is considered an annoying pest. However, some engineers are amazed at the capabilities of a cockroach that led them to turn these creatures into robots with numerous abilities.

A study published in Science robotics Scientists and engineers successfully made a copy of the insect using modern materials. This means that these engineers have created a lifelike “robotic cockroach” that, despite being human-made, is not crushed or mutilated when entered.
The research entitled “Insect-scale fast Moving and Ultrarobust Soft Robot” has already created a prototype and has been subjected to various tests that confirm its durability and wear-resistant body.
It is called a “soft robot” by its engineers because it does not use traditional metals for its body, but rather a “curved unimorph piezoelectric structure”.
What it has also achieved is almost the same speed as a cockroach, faster compared to the average speeds of human walks, but less than a moving car. A American cockroach can move at 3.4 miles per hour (5.5 km / h), which their fast-moving legs compensate for to create more speed.

Indestructible, unbreakable robots
The engineers at the University of California-Berkeley recorded the speed of the insect and added the piezoelectric structure, making the robot almost a replica of its insect counterpart. Why this? Because even the body is almost unbreakable and unbreakable, which would only move after entering it.
They say that cockroaches are one of the few creatures on earth that would survive any apocalypse, including that of atomic bombs and the like.
Perhaps this company could soon join the Perseverance rover on its mission to Mars to withstand the harsh environment of the planet and contribute to the advancement and information gathered by scientists.

The aim of the study is to learn more about insects and apply nature’s best and strangest properties to those of modern technology.
Additionally, the researchers and engineers believe that this project is designed to help robotics in general by helping them put their creation into practice on larger technologies. This would potentially help with various endeavors, and small components in cars, machines, and other massive objects may have fewer maintenance parts that break off internally.
