SPG Automobiles Pvt Ltd distributes Chery Cars in Nepal – myRepublica
KATHMANDU, Aug 6: SPG Automobiles Pvt Ltd, the holding company of Sharda Group, has been appointed as distributor for Chery Cars in Nepal.
The Chinese automotive company announced to the media that its official distributor, SPG Automobiles Pvt Ltd, has many years of experience in the automotive business in Nepal and intends to enter the Nepalese market. The automotive company hopes to influence the local market by working together on both sides and to support the development of the automotive sector in the country. The aim of the Chinese automobile company is to create a competitive environment through innovative products and to steer market demand.
Chery currently has an annual production capacity of 900,000 automobiles, engines and 400,000 transmissions. Chery’s products include passenger cars, commercial vehicles and minivans. Chery has multiple vehicle assembly and component manufacturing facilities in mainland China, and its vehicles are assembled in around 15 other countries around the world. There are currently more than 20 Chery models available in the international market, and dozens more will be launched successively.
Chery has exported to more than 80 countries and regions, established more than 1,500 sales and service outlets with a cumulative export volume of more than 1.8 million, making it the largest exporter of passenger cars in China for 18 years in a row.
In addition, the automotive company has been named “Best Overseas Image Enterprise” in China for five years in a row and is number one in the equipment industry.
