Target Deal Days return from October 10th to 12th with a holiday price guarantee

target starts early in the Christmas shopping season.

The retailer announced on Wednesday that it is bringing back three days of “Deal Days” this October and introducing a new “Holiday Price Match Guarantee”.

Target’s sale will take place October 10-12 and will include “Save Thousands of Items” online through its app and will be available for the first time in all 1,900+ stores.

“With so many of our guests wanting to start shopping early, we’re helping them kick off deals that start earlier than ever before,” said Christina Hennington, Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer of Target, in a video.

The deals will be announced shortly before they go on sale, but Target hinted that there will be “deep discounts” on items including televisions, Beats headphones, video games, vacuum cleaners, and kitchen appliances.

Last year, Target held Deal Days in October to promote a later Amazon Prime Day and started his Price guarantee Nov 1

Salesforce, a cloud-based software company headquartered in San Francisco, released its consumer insights and forecasts for the holiday season on Wednesday.

The company said it expects digital sales to exceed $ 1 trillion globally, but predicted that consumers, retailers and suppliers will face rising costs and decreased inventory levels due to pressures on the supply chain.

“We expect consumers to buy sooner than ever before,” said Rob Garf, Salesforce vice president and general manager of retail, in a phone call with reporters. “If you see a gift you want, buy it now. Do not wait or you risk that the product will not be available later in the Christmas season. “

Target price match guarantee starts early

The new holiday price match guarantee starts on October 10th and runs until December 24th. According to Hennington, “guests should be reassured that they are getting the best deals at Target, no matter when they go shopping.”

New this year, Target said, buyers can request a price adjustment for any item purchased in the time slot if they “lower the price later in the season.”

As part of its existing guidelines, Target will continue to price selected competitors within 14 days of purchase. Some exclusions apply.

Goal closed Thanksgiving 2021

For years Thanksgiving and Black Friday marked the official start of the Christmas shopping season and the time of year when shoppers focus on the Christmas spending.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic last year, retailers pushed ahead with more online promotions and a longer shopping season.

Target held a series of weeklong sales referred to as “Black Friday Now” in November last year to distribute the demand. Almost all of Target’s Black Friday deals were available for a full week while supplies last, in stores and online.

Retailers haven’t shared any vacation plans yet, with the exception of a few who announced they would be closed again on Thanksgiving for the second year in a row. Target was the first to announce its closure on Thanksgiving Day 2021 in January.

Best Buy, Walmart, Kohl’s and Bed Bath & Beyond have also announced Thanksgiving stores closed.
